Dr. McManus has been practicing medicine for nearly four decades and brings a deep level of experience to the care of injured workers. He earned his medical degree in 1985 and moved to Washington in 1995 with his family. In 1991, he began focusing on occupational medicine, where he built a career dedicated to helping patients recover from work-related injuries and return safely to their jobs.

In 2016, Dr. McManus opened his own private practice, continuing to provide thoughtful, consistent care rooted in years of hands-on experience. After decades in medicine, he transitioned into semi-retirement in 2022. In addition to performing impairment rating examinations, Dr. McManus provides medical oversight for OWCP claims. His commitment to occupational health and injured worker care remains an important part of his professional legacy.
